Phytosanitary Certificate Policy

At Nepseeds, our commitment to ensuring the health and safety of our plants, as well as compliance with international trade regulations, guides our approach to providing phytosanitary certificates (Phytocerts). We understand the importance of these certificates in verifying that our plants meet the importing country's regulations regarding pest and disease control.

Phytocert Process for Plants:
We offer Phytocert services primarily for our plants, as the certification process is detailed and requires thorough inspections. Each Phytocert application incurs a cost of approximately 100 SGD, covering the vetting and approval by the National Environment Agency in Singapore. This process ensures that our plants are free from contaminants, insects, and comply with the highest biosecurity standards. The plants undergo rigorous inspections to certify their health and readiness for international shipping.

Considerations for Seeds:
For seeds, we advise against seeking Phytocerts due to the inherent challenges and high costs relative to the value of the seeds. The certification process can be lengthy, troublesome, and expensive, making it impractical for seed shipments. Moreover, the process can reduce the viability of the seeds and significantly increase the overall cost for our customers.

Our Recommendation:
While we are capable of securing Phytocerts for plants upon request, we recommend considering this service only if absolutely required by your country's import regulations. For seeds, given the practical considerations and potential impact on viability and cost, we suggest opting out of Phytocert acquisition.

Commitment to Sustainability and Ethical Practices:
Nepseeds is dedicated to sustainable and ethical practices, including our approach to international shipping and certification. We strive to balance regulatory compliance with environmental responsibility and customer affordability.

We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist with any questions or concerns regarding the importation of our plants and seeds. Our team is committed to providing clear, transparent information to help you make informed decisions about your purchases.
